Robert E. Turner

Background:
Robert E. Turner co-founded Turner Investment Partners in 1990. In addition to his roles as chairman and chief investment officer, Turner is lead portfolio manager for the large cap growth portfolios at Turner. He developed the equity investment process that is the basis for all of Turner Investment Partners growth equity investments. He is a member of the analyst team that covers the technology and telecommunications sector for all growth investment portfolios. He has 27 years of investment experience.
Prior to co-founding Turner Investment Partners, Turner served as senior investment manager at Meridian Investment Company, as a portfolio manager with Integon Corporation, an analyst at McMillion/Eubanks and a systems consultant at Arthur Andersen.
Turner received both his BS in accounting and MBA from Bradley University. He serves as a trustee for the Turner Funds and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Philadelphia. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of Bradley University. In addition, he is a member of the advisory board for City Team Ministries and is a member of the Advisory Council for the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture.
Turner Investment Partners is an employee-owned investment-management firm based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. As of September 30, 2008, the firm managed approximately $22.2 billion in domestic equity investments for institutions and high net worth individuals.
